So, check it:
St. Elsewhere was a show that ran from 1982-1988 on NBC. It was a medical drama that had one of the biggest plot twists of a series finale ever, and this was almost 30 years ago, so no I’m not going to worry about spoilers, so if you really don’t want to know, click away or scroll without looking:
The last episode revealed that the hospital was inside of the snow globe of an autistic boy. The show had been completely made up in his mind. So in essence – it was all a dream.
But that’s not the mind wobbly thing:
That show crossed over with Homicide: Life on the Street and Cheers. Which means that everything that happened in those shows was also created by the boy.
Which means any other show ever associated with those two, were the continuing fantasies of that kid, which includes:
Fraiser (a spin off from Cheers)
Law and Order
The latter which spun off all those franchises. Not to mention crossed over with The X-Files. And now SVU has crossed over with Chicago PD.
All of these worlds, because of one series finale, can be chalked up to a dream.
