Country Pumpkin Spice Latte (Recipe)

There are so many ways to make a Pumpkin Spice Latte nowadays. But this one, in my opinion by far, rivals Starbucks!!!

First, get your favorite brand of coffee brewing.

As that is brewing, get a small pot. Add:

  • Β½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp Pumpkin puree
  • ΒΌ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp light brown sugar
  • ΒΌ tsp pumpkin spice
  • A small sliver of butter for that country feel (homemade vegan butter can be substituted – stay tuned for that recipe coming up)

Continuously stir. It’ll start to thicken slightly. Once it boils, remove from heat immediately.

The next step depends on your preference. Whisk thw hot cream mix by hand until creamy. Or, use a food processor. Or blender. Or, like me, a smoothie shaker. LoL the whisking ball will do the magic for me. Now shake, blend, whisk until creamy and foamy! About 1-2 minutes in the smoothie bottle.

Pour some hot coffee into a mug half way. Add your sugar preferences if you want at this time.

Slowly pour the cream into the coffee. Let the foam sit on top. Dust with pumpkin spice.

Enjoy!

Note: the more you blend, whisk or shake the cream, the thicker it will become. At that point, you can make coffee design creations as you learn your pour.
